Update on the post from 9.10.13
She came home yesterday and said no one bothered her. So it is a step in the right direction. She did say the principal and the counselor and teachers are more pro-active now and in the hallways before classes and during bells. So that is a big step up. Today is a half day for the kids so hopefully all goes well and she has a good day at school. I am calling the school back tomorrow if I do not hear from them today. Hopefully this is stopped here and now.. Fingers Crossed anyway.
School Called and they are dealing with the issue and the students will no longer be a problem. Thankfully someone listened to reason. Seems I was not the only parent to complain.. So the children causing the issues are being dealt with accordingly and no one will have to worry.
Well good. It sounds like things might be moving in the right direction.
ReplyDeleteAwesome news! Things WILL get better I am sure, and she will put all that behind her.
ReplyDeleteThings are working well now - that is good. I am glad it all came to a resolution, dear. :)

ReplyDeleteGood to know. I'd still make a formal written complaint because it should never have happened.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to know the situation is improving
ReplyDeleteIt's nerve-wracking isn't it, when we have to depend on others and can't be there ourselves. Wishing you best of luck.
ReplyDeleteGood! Lets hope for the best now :)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear the school was so responsive. I hope the situation will continue to improve as each day goes by. Don't be afraid to contact the school again if it doesn't, though.
ReplyDeleteI am relieved to hear this. I was very disappointed after your original post when it seemed they weren't taking the issue seriously. Hopefully all goes well from here on out.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope things get better now. I will keep my fingers crossed for her. I know it is difficult.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear things are going in the right direction and that the adults are being more involved!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness they finally did the right thing. As an educator, it is shocking to me that it took them so long to respond to such a terrible situation.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that happened.
ReplyDeleteBullying is awful! Glad they are doing something about it! Sending *HUGS* xoxo, Jessica
